Coaching Classes for IIT Foundation, Olympiad and NTSE







ONE YEAR FOUNDATION COURSE STUDENTS PRESENTLY IN  IX and X In One Year Foundation Course the whole syllabus of Science & Mathematics will be exhaustively covered in three Phases each, in addition there would be regular periodical quizzes & tests on competitive exams i.e. NTSE,, Olympiads, etc. The complete syllabus in each year would be over by the end of DECEMBER. After which there would be mock tests on syllabus of Science & Mathematics as per the pattern of respective class annual Exams.

Two Year Foundation Course Students Presently in VIII
1. The whole syllabus of Science & Mathematics will be exhaustively covered in six phases. All these phases will have a Phase test, in addition to the same, there would be periodical tests & mock tests on competitive exams like NTSE / Olympiads, etc.
2. The complete syllabus in first year would be over by the end of December 2014, After which there would be mock tests based on the syllabus of respective classes. From April 2014 next year classes would commence in three Phases and it will comprise of three phases. After the completion of the entire syllabus till December 2014 there would be mock tests on latest CBSE pattern. These tests will help the students to develop required examination temperament.
3. Early completion of syllabus will give the students ample time to cope well with their preparation for annual exams and also revise & consolidate the knowledge and skills taught in Two year Foundation Course at Apex Institute.

Batch Option(s) # Regular Batch*: Classes will be held 3/4 days a week. The class timings other than the vacations will be after school hours. During vacations the classes can be held in the morning hours as well. Course Commencement: April/ May / 2014 Duration: 600 hours (approximately). National Talent Search Examination






National Talent Search Examination (NTSE) is a national-level scholarship program in India to identify and recognize students with high intellect and academic talent. It is one of the most prestigious exams in India. Close to 1,50,000 students appear in this scholarship exam every year. The scheme is open to students of Indian nationality. Only students studying in Class X are eligible to appear for the selection process. As it is organized by an official body (NCERT), it is widely regarded by the Government of India as the toughest and most prestigious examination at high school level in the country.
NTSE or National talent search examination is conducted on a national level in 2 stages.
National Talent Search Examination Stage-1 is conducted by states and union territories. This is a written exam where students are supposed to answer questions related to mental ability, general science and maths. Each state /union territory
selects a pre-specified number of candidates to represent it in the second round i.e.State-2.
Stage-1 written exam consists of MAT (mental aptitude test) and SAT (scholastic aptitude test). Both the tests have 100 multiple choice questions to be answered in 90 minutes.
stage-2 is conducted at a national level by NCERT. Only students who clear stage-1 of NTSE are eligible to sit in this stage. NTSE's stage-2 also has MAT and SAT. Further, those candidates who qualify the written exam at the national level will be called for interview.
